CPAT® Service Receives a 4.0 Diamond Rating from Broadband Gear Report Review Panel

Montreal, June 20, 2007

VGI Solutions announced today that its CPAT® (patent pending) leakage/ingress monitoring system received a 4.0 Diamond rating from the Broadband Gear Report Review Panel during the 2007 Diamond Technology Reviews.

CPAT® is a fully automated, continuous leakage/ingress monitoring service that helps reduce broadband cable operators’ leakage/ingress management program costs. The CPAT® service can accurately identify leakage/ingress events while cable technicians perform their normal daily routine, without any intervention on their part. CPAT® provides definite, measurable improvements over traditional audit patrol methods that use dedicated technical resources and vehicles.

CPAT®’s ability to continuously monitor leakage/ingress events throughout the year means that events can be detected faster and that repair teams can be dispatched immediately, thereby preventing costly service calls. The ability to react proactively to leakage/ingress events results in increased reliability and greater customer satisfaction.

The BGR Review Panel of this year’s Diamond Technology Reviews was impressed by CPAT®’s features and benefits. The Review Panel team was composed of:

- Tom Gorman, VP Operations Engineering, Charter
- Wayne Hall, VP of Engineering, Comcast
- Vicki Marts, Director of Video Engineering, Cox
- Dermot O’Carroll, Senior VP, Network Engineering and Operations, Rogers
- Gene White, VP of Engineering, Bright House

“VGI Solutions is proud to receive a 4.0 Diamond rating from the BGR Review Panel,” said Daniel Babeux, Vice President, Business Development, Broadband Networks. ”We are honored to be acknowledged for CPAT®’s exceptional ability to increase the efficiency of cable operators’ preventive maintenance programs related to leakage/ingress monitoring.”

Since 1995, VGI Solutions has been a recognized leader in Canada, providing leakage/ingress patrol services and currently serving a significant number of MSOs evolving in the Canadian broadband cable market.

VGI Solutions will introduce its CPAT® service in the U.S. at the SCTE Cable-Tec 2007 exhibition at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, from June 20 to June 22.
